A music school runs on a tight weekly schedule: dozens of 30-minute piano and guitar lessons, a few group classes for theory, choir or early years music, teachers who each keep their own timetable, and families paying by the term or by the month. Add exam entries a few times a year and the spreadsheet quickly stops coping.
ClubTide gives every lesson a place on the weekly schedule, whether it is a group class or a one-to-one lesson set up as a group of one. Teachers take the register on their phone, invoices go out on time and parents pay by card. The app uses your words, too: students, teachers, levels and repertoire.
Levels are optional. Start from the Music grades preset (Initial, Grade 1 to Grade 8, Diploma) or the simpler Beginner to Advanced levels, rename them to fit the way you teach, and list the pieces, scales and other requirements for each level.

Create a program for each instrument or subject, such as piano, guitar, violin, singing, drums or music theory. Add group classes with a capacity, and set up each one-to-one lesson as a group of one with its teacher, location and weekly time. The schedule creates every lesson automatically.
When a teacher is away or a lesson moves, change it once and the family is notified by email and in the portal. Each teacher only sees their own students and lessons.

Attendance for every lesson
Teachers mark each student as present, late, excused, absent or on a trial lesson from their phone. Every mark is kept in the student's history, so you always know how many lessons were given and missed.

Grades, repertoire and exam entries
Use the Music grades or Beginner to Advanced preset as your starting point. For each level, list the repertoire, scales and other requirements, and teachers record each student's progress as they go. Add a minimum number of lessons, months at the current level or teacher approval, and ClubTide shows who is ready. A teacher always decides.
When an exam session comes up, create it with a date, venue, fee and entry deadline, invite the students who are ready and let parents enter them from the portal. Each entry adds the exam fee to the family's invoices. Record results afterwards and move everyone who passed up in one step.

Term fees, lesson packs and online payments
Set up fee plans the way you charge: monthly, quarterly, yearly or a one-off term fee, with an optional registration fee. Give siblings a percentage discount and pause a plan over the summer. ClubTide issues the invoices when they fall due.

Does ClubTide handle one-to-one lessons?
Yes. Set up each one-to-one lesson as a group of one with its teacher, location and weekly time. It then works like any class: scheduled lessons, attendance and billing.
Which level systems can I start from?
There are two presets: Music grades (Initial, Grade 1 to Grade 8 and Diploma) and Beginner to Advanced levels. You can rename, add or remove levels and list the repertoire for each one.
