Team software or club software
Lotul is built for team sports such as football, basketball and handball. It covers schedules, replies and attendance, fee generation, player availability, evaluations, tournaments and messages sent over WhatsApp, and keeps registration records for the Romanian Football Federation (FRF). It is available in Romanian, English and Hungarian.
ClubTide is built for clubs that coach children and teens, whatever the sport: groups with coaches and locations, attendance on the coach's phone, monthly fees billed to families, documents with expiry dates, consent forms, and belts, grades or levels where a club uses them. It is also used by martial arts gyms, dance studios and music schools, in five languages.

A subscription without a commission
Lotul's paid plans cost 99 lei a month (Club, up to 100 players) or 249 lei a month (Pro, up to 300 players), excluding VAT, and add a Lotul commission of 1.5% on the Club plan or 1% on Pro and Academy to every online payment, on top of Stripe's fees. Clubs can pass that commission on to parents.
ClubTide charges only its subscription, from $49 a month for up to 50 active athletes, with every feature included. Parents pay into your club's own Stripe, PayPal or Authorize.net account at that processor's standard rates, and ClubTide takes no share of what your club collects.

Family billing and a parent portal
In ClubTide a family is the account holder: one parent or several, any number of children, one invoice with a sibling discount and one saved card for autopay on membership fees. Parents see each child's schedule, attendance and invoices, pay online and sign consents in a portal that works on any phone, without installing an app.

Lotul is made for team sports: it sends messages to parents over WhatsApp, asks players for their availability, organises tournaments and keeps FRF registration records. Its free plan covers one team of up to 25 players, and its software is also available in Hungarian. For a football academy or a single team that wants WhatsApp messaging, Lotul is a strong choice.

Will parents' saved cards move over?
Saved cards cannot be moved between software providers. Families save their card again in the ClubTide parent portal, either when they pay their first invoice or from the payments page.
Can ClubTide send WhatsApp messages?
No. ClubTide sends email and in-app notifications, including announcements to a group or the whole club, and parents choose which messages they receive.
